I’m Stephanie Snaith, a Veterinary Nurse here at Morris and Plumley. My friends and colleagues call me Steph. I started my training as a Veterinary Nurse back in October 2013 and recently qualified in January 2017, passing my practical exams first time! The area I find most rewarding in work is dealing with acute illness in animals and emergency operations and seeing those pets pull through the other side. I am a born and bred farmer’s daughter. I live on our family farm, at Clennell that is situated in the beautiful Coquet Valley. Outside of work, I am your typical ‘farm kid’, I love to get stuck in on the farm, working livestock. Harvest and Lambing time are my favourite time of year on the farming calendar. My other hobbies include horse riding and swimming. I enjoy touring the Cheviot Hills on my quad, especially on a nice sunny day. I have two Labradors, Harvey – 4 who is fox red, and Ben – 11 who is yellow. Harvey and Ben are also trained gun dogs as well as my pets; they love nothing more than attending a day’s shooting with me. Aside all of this, I do love to get my hair and nails done and off out socialising with friends. 🙂

Stu about Steph

“A country girl. You will find her `on safari` round the Cheviots or out and about on the farm.   Steph is hard working and conscientious with a cheeky glint in her eye!”

Sue about Steph

“Very helpful and patient, with a wide knowledge of a range of animals due to her farming background”. She’s also our youngest member so we can listen to her stories and vaguely remember our own youthful exploits.”
